Founder's Best Friend

We're founders who build with founders.

Not coaches. Not consultants. Not an agency. We've started companies, scaled revenue teams, and sat in the same chair you're sitting in now.

We built Founder's Best Friend because we know what it feels like to be great at the work and stuck on the growth

How it started

We kept seeing the same problem.

Every founder we worked with had the same gap. They were talented. Their clients loved them. But they couldn't clearly explain what they sold, and growth felt random because of it.

Some of them had spent thousands on agencies that produced beautiful websites for offers nobody understood. Some had bought courses that taught frameworks but left them to figure out execution alone. Some had been in business for years and still gave a different answer every time someone asked "what do you do?"

The problem wasn't effort. It wasn't intelligence. It was structure. They didn't have a system for turning what they know into something the market can buy, repeat, and refer.

So we built one.

We mapped the growth process into a framework that starts with the offer and builds everything from there. Messaging, sales conversations, outreach, pipeline, operations. One system. Tested across hundreds of businesses.

Then we made it accessible two ways: an AI co-builder that guides you through it on your schedule, and human-led sprints for founders who want speed. That's Founder's Best Friend.

Our Team

Together, David and Nick built the framework that powers everything FBF does.

Nicholas Alter

Nicholas Alter

CEO & Founding Principal

Nick looks at your business like a machine: which engines are running, which are stuck, and what to fix first. For founders doing $250K to $5M who feel trapped by their own company, Nick's perspective is the one that unlocks the path out. He's sat across from hundreds of operators and helped them see what they're too close to see themselves.

David Daniel

David Daniel

Program Director & Co-Founder

David leads the strategy sessions, builds the sprint frameworks, and is the first user of every tool FBF creates. He believes that founders who are willing to do the work deserve a clear path to predictable revenue. And he believes that path starts with the offer, not the funnel. He uses the Growth Navigator in his own business every day. That's the proof he trusts most.

What we believe

Principles.

Not platitudes.

The offer comes first.

Most agencies start with marketing. We start with the offer. If nobody understands what you sell, no amount of ads, content, or funnels will fix it.

Artifacts, not advice.

Every engagement should produce something you can use tomorrow. A one-pager. An outreach script. A sales email. If you walk away with inspiration but not implementation, we failed.

Done with you. Not done for you.

We sit with you and build the assets together so you own the strategy when we're done. That's the difference between renting help and building something that lasts.

Weeks, not months.

Founders can't afford to wait six months for a strategy to work. 90 minutes for a pitch. 21 days for a full GTM system. 60 days for a complete operating system.

Stop building alone.

The founders who scale aren't smarter. They just stopped building alone sooner. That's why we exist.

How we work

One framework. Two co-builders.

The Growth Navigator and Growth Sprints run on the same framework. Most founders start with the Navigator. When they hit a moment where speed matters, they sprint. After the sprint, the Navigator keeps everything running.

Co-builder in the room

Growth Sprints

Human-led, intensive engagements. We sit with you and build the assets together. Walk out with finished deliverables. Weeks, not months. Starting at $1,500.

The framework underneath

Built on ThriveSide.

Founder's Best Friend is the customer-facing brand. ThriveSide is the intellectual property container and underlying framework. Everything FBF builds, from the Growth Navigator to the sprint methodology, runs on ThriveSide's system. You'll never need to know the difference. But if you see both names, that's why.
