Project Overview

Forward Partners develops healthy leaders, thriving teams, and impactful organizations. They talk about burnout, purpose, success, leadership, and leadership coaching. 

Client Background:

Chad came from an entrepreneurial space and started developing IP around leadership development with respect to that experience. He realized he was extremely gifted at leading teams, but he wanted to teach teams about leadership. 

Challenges:

While he knew he wanted to make this a business, he did not have a clear business direction. People responded positively to his approach and coaching, but he did not have a clear line of sight on how to productize and monetize this offering.   

Project Execution

Our first objective was to first narrow the audience to understand where Forward Partners could have the most impact. Second, we want to find a product that could be monetized in order to build a sustainable business model.

Our Approach:

  1. Identify and develop offerings
  2. Map offerings to the first two steps in the ThriveSide architecture framework (Existential and Discovery)
  3. Articulate the impact and benefit to the audience for these offerings while tieing these offerings to value

Implementation:

  • Identified “burnout” as a consistent thread that added extreme value to customers
  • Defined the audience around the idea of those experiencing burnout
  • Develop a product that provides value to customers experiencing burnout 
  • Map offerings to the first two steps in the ThriveSide architecture framework (Existential and Discovery)
  • Articulate the impact and benefit to the audience for these offerings while tying these offerings to value
  • Tested and optimized pricing models that allowed Forward Partners to tie pricing to value

Results

Forward Partners is experiencing tremendous growth, both with repeat and new customers. His pricing has increased by 10x for his offering, and he is expanding his offerings to a new, self-guided coaching solution for those who cannot afford the full-service coaching.
